National Quilting Day is scheduled for Saturday March 18th at the Venice Community Center.  This is the guild's opportunity to make the community aware of the services and activities of the Venice Area Quilters Guild.  The day will consist of demonstrations, displays and activities for participants.  Marj Bryen is our 2023 chairperson - email her at NQD2023@vaqg.org

In order for the day to be a success we will need volunteers to help out. 
Guild members will be able to sign up for activities and scheduled times.  Please plan on helping us out for a few hours on that day. We will need volunteers to direct visitors to various areas.  We will need members to participate in activities.  If you have a skill you would be willing to demonstrate this is a great opportunity.  We hope to have a children's area as well.

Please consider helping on Saturday March 18th.  Use the Volunteer button to the right, above, to see what roles are still available, and to volunteer yourself for a time slot.
We will schedule a planning meeting as the date gets closer. Email or call Marj Bryen to volunteer or offer suggestions.  There will be a table at the monthly guild meeting for info and sign up.

You can help promote the event by printing a flyer and posting it in your clubhouse, church bulletin board and sharing it on social media. Here are the links to print or download flyers:

This year's door prize is a 36" x 45" quilt.
