A waiting list will be made from paid registrations after the class is filled. No refunds can be made unless there is a waiting list, or in the event of no waiting list, you find a replacement. While classes are open to non-members, VAQG members receive first preference when registering for a class. Any non-member who has registered for a class that has been filled by members may join the wait list or receive a full refund.

"Tumbling Block / Inner City" Two-fer Zoom Class with Kelly Ashton

Skill Level: Confident Beginner and Beyond 








Tumbling Block and Inner City are traditional quilt blocks that combine sixty-degree patchwork and color / value to create visually interesting blocks.  In this workshop, the participant will learn how to sew set-in seams ("Y-seams") on the sewing machine.  Never fear!  Sharing her many tips, Kelly has taught thousands of quilters how to successfully sew set-in seams, and she has never had a student fail!  We will also discuss the use of color and value to yield visual depth and dimension.  The participant will learn to make both blocks and will also learn how the two blocks can easily be used together in the same quilt.  C'mon!  Give it a try!
Can be made in any size that you want.

Plus Mandatory Kit fee of $25- The project set of acrylic templates for the Tumbling Block / Inner City workshop is available only from Kelly Ashton. The persons taking this workshop will need to contact her via email (and include their phone number) so she can call them for payment. kelly@kellyquilter.com
